Butterfly, Butterfly,
When high in flight
Do you ever lament
the plight
of the Caterpillar
who came and went?
The Caterpillar
who gave its all
No knowledge
it had
of the coming event.
So, Butterfly
on your heavenly flight
pause to reflect
and give thanks
to the Caterpillar so bold
who altered its life
to follow its soul.
